Home Remedies For Common Cold

Chew 5-8 peppercorns with 1 teaspoon sugar candy (misri) before going to bed at night for relief from blocked & running nose.
  • Drink the juice of one lemon in a glass of warm water, with a teaspoon of honey added to it, once or twice a day. Lemon is rich in Vitamin C and increases body resistance, decreases toxins in the body thereby reducing the duration of illness.



  • Drink Tulsi tea and Ginger tea.
  • Keep off sugar while ill. Don't add sugar to your tea and abstain from chocolates and all sweets while ill. Sugar significantly lowers immunity.
  • A teaspoon of freshly ground turmeric powder added to a glass of warm milk provides quick relief in a stuffy nose condition.
