Home Remedies For Common Cold
Chew 5-8 peppercorns with 1 teaspoon sugar candy (misri) before going to bed at night for relief from blocked & running nose.
Drink the juice of one lemon in a glass of warm water, with a teaspoon of honey added to it, once or twice a day. Lemon is rich in Vitamin C and increases body resistance, decreases toxins in the body thereby reducing the duration of illness.
Drink Tulsi tea and Ginger tea.
Keep off sugar while ill. Don't add sugar to your tea and abstain from chocolates and all sweets while ill. Sugar significantly lowers immunity.
A teaspoon of freshly ground turmeric powder added to a glass of warm milk provides quick relief in a stuffy nose condition.
